Whilst I know this is a site dedicated to Obi-Wan, it can't go without saying that the other Jedi Masters are as well important too.  After all, they're important in Obi-Wan's life as well.
 
 
One of the twelve Jedi Council Members, Master Yoda is a wise and revered Jedi.  For 800 years he has trained Jedi, and is very strong with the force.
Mace Windu, also one of the 12 Jedi Council Members.  His word is as strong as Yoda's, and he is great Jedi for his wisdom.
Master Qui-Gon Jinn, he could be on the Jedi Council if he would only follow the rules.  Jinn is headstrong, and sure of himself.  When he says something, he means it.  He is very wise, and strong.  He is occasionally a diplomat for the Jedi Council.
